1. How do I know when and what my car needs for maintenance? At Home Town Garage we subscribe to Mitchell and All Data Repair which contains service schedules for all manufactures.

2. Why does my car need brake fluid flushes? Brake fluid attracts moisture out of the atmosphere causing breakdown of fluids which allows rusting and pitting to brake components. It is important to flush if test trips show contamination of the brake fluid. This item is tested during our oil services.

3. Why do I have to perform flushes to my power steering, transmission, differentials, and transfer cases? Molecules in the fluids break down the viscosity of the oils to cause friction damage to components. Just as you change the oil in your engine for longer life, these oils also need to be serviced for longer life.

4. Why does my engine coolant need to be serviced? The PH in your coolant breaks down causing electrolysis in your cooling system which over time dissolves metal components like your radiator, heater core, water pump propellers, engine blocks, and head gaskets.
